FORCE: Gen Z BrainrotUNIVERSE: Aura EconomyCLUSTER: aura_scoring

A joke that a person's charisma or cool factor can pass from one person to another, so that one gains aura exactly as another loses it. It extends the imaginary aura-points scoring system, in which people gain or lose points for how they act. Recent term; no dated source found yet for this exact phrase.

REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE

""Every point he lost in that stumble was an aura transfer straight to the guy who caught the tray.""

LORE & ORIGIN

Recent term; no dated source found yet. It builds on the slang sense of aura, which Wiktionary dates from 2020 and which spread on TikTok around May 2024, and on the aura-points game of adding and subtracting imaginary points. A news explainer on aura slang describes points being gained or lost but does not describe a transfer between people.
