It appears in French national media from late September (a TF1 report on 23 September), in an organized street battle on Place de la Comédie in Montpellier on 25 September, in school bans such as Collège Sainte-Marie in Riom (reported 29 September), and, from early October, in front of blockaded lycées, including one in Laval where the principal took part.
