Origin:Originated in comedian Toninho Tornado's YouTube sketches, where he habitually swapped the grammatical gender of random words to use as absurd vocatives — sereio, CNPJoto, Fanto Laranjo, and calabreso among them. The word entered the national vocabulary during Big Brother Brasil 24 (BBB24) when contestant Davi Brito used "calabreso" while arguing with fellow contestant Lucas Henrique — after which it was picked up in a telenovela line by actor Lázaro Ramos, turned into a hit song by the Bahian band La Fúria, and used in multiple commercials.
