Gencest Examples?
3.9BRAINROT SCOREGencest Fandom label from the Supernatural community for stories about the two Winchester brothers that centre on their intense emotional bond, with no romantic or sexual relationship between them. It is a sub-category of "gen" fanfiction.
Origin:The Supernatural Wiki calls it a mashup of "gen" (fanfiction that does not centre on romance or sex) and the fandom's pairing name for the brothers, and says the term arose around 2009 to set these emotionally focused stories apart from plot-driven gen stories such as monster hunts. In other fandoms the word may be used for family-centred stories in the same non-romantic spirit.
