Sub-only Vs Follower-only Giveaway?

3.0BRAINROT SCORE

SUB-ONLY— ORIGIN, MEANING & USAGE

Sub-Only Restricted to paying subscribers: on Twitch it names a chat mode where only subscribers can type, and more loosely any stream, video or post limited to subscribers. Non-subscribers can usually read sub-only chat but not write in it.

Origin:Wikipedia's Twitch article says viewers can subscribe to a partnered channel for US$4.99 a month, which often unlocks emotes and chat privileges, but the sections read do not describe subscriber-only chat itself. Search-result guides say that subscriber-only mode lets only subscribers type, switched on with a /subscribers chat command by the streamer or a moderator; those guides were not opened. No dated first use of "sub-only" is documented in the pages consulted. The existing entry on subscriber covers the base word. This is a weak entry.
