What Is Six Seven Dance?
5.6BRAINROT SCORESix Seven Dance A dance form of the 6-7 meme, built on the see-saw gesture of both palms facing up and moving alternately up and down while chanting "six, seven". The phrase has no fixed meaning. The gesture is the core of the dance, which was performed in group videos and at events; the plain 6-7 phrase and chant are covered by their own entry.
Origin:The 6-7 meme comes from the drill rap song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by Skrilla, released in December 2024 and officially on February 7, 2025. It spread through basketball edits (notably of LaMelo Ball, who is 6 ft 7 in) and a viral video on March 31, 2025, and reached schools and public figures; a BBC headline refers to a politician apologising for leading pupils in a "6-7 dance". Dictionary.com named 67 its 2025 Word of the Year.
