What Is Subnick?
3.9BRAINROT SCOREsubnick The line of text shown next to your name in MSN Messenger (personal message), often a song lyric or a veiled hint aimed at someone.
Origin:Spanish press retrospectives (e.g. Valencia Plaza) describe users turning their "nick" or "subnick" into a quote or song line, often a hint meant for one particular person, visible to all contacts for days. The term is documented in this informal usage; the exact year the personal-message feature appeared and when the word "subnick" arose were not found. Relates to the existing "msn-platform" entry (Brazilian context) as a feature of the same messenger, here from Spanish-language usage.
