What Does This Mean?
An AI image trend in which a modern portrait is restyled by an image model, such as ChatGPT, into a 1990s school photo, with direct flash, film grain, faded colours and period clothing. Users upload a clear photo and ask the tool to keep their facial features. It is a variant of the broader 1990s photo prompt trend and an older AI yearbook portrait craze.
