What Does This Mean?
A TV Tropes-style label for a scene in which a character shouts a strong swear word at tremendous volume for dramatic or comic effect, where the loudness is the point. It is a sub-trope of the Big Word Shout.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
""The film saves one Atomic F-Bomb for the finale, shouted so loudly the birds fly off.""
LORE & ORIGIN
The All The Tropes description says it turns on volume, sometimes with a cutaway such as birds taking off to suggest how loud it was. Dictionary.com dates the plain term "f-bomb" to the twentieth century as a play on A-bomb and H-bomb. This entry describes the trope neutrally and does not list any words.
