A human who relays an AI's answer to someone else without disclosing that AI wrote it — asking ChatGPT a question, then passing the response along as your own words.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
"He didn't answer a single question himself in that meeting, just relayed ChatGPT — total meat proxy behavior."
LORE & ORIGIN
Coined in an August 3, 2026 blog post by developer Niklas Gruhn ("I don't need a meat proxy in between"), describing the growing pattern of people acting as a fleshy pass-through layer between an AI and whoever they're talking to. Picked up widely by tech press (Yahoo Tech, Futurism) as shorthand for a specific kind of workplace and social dishonesty distinct from just "using AI."
