What Does This Mean?
[ FANDOM ][ GEN Z BRAINROT ]
A ship a fan actively opposes or finds unbearable — the direct inverse of an OTP, naming a pairing they specifically do not want to see happen.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
"That's my NOTP, I skip every scene where they're on screen together."
LORE & ORIGIN
Formed as a negation of OTP by simply prefixing "N," spreading through the same LiveJournal/Tumblr fandom communities that popularized OTP itself.
