What Does This Mean?
Deliberately misspelled version of "hola, ¿qué haces?" (hello, what are you doing?), used as a jokey greeting and as a template for variants such as "ola k dise" or "ola k kiere".
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
"He answered the group chat with "ola k ase" just to annoy everyone."
LORE & ORIGIN
One of the earliest appearances was as image macros on the Spanish forum ForoCoches on 1 November 2012, showing a surprised llama and two dogs captioned with the phrase. A Twitter account named after it was created on 11 November 2012 and a Facebook page followed on 15 November; Mexican press reported it trending that year. The most common reading is that it mocked bad spelling, but the author is unknown and other theories are unsupported.
