What Does This Mean?
Repeatedly triggering sound clips from the Discord voice-channel soundboard in a short time, which disrupts other people in the call. Servers respond by removing the soundboard permission from offenders or disabling it in some channels.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
""Soundboard spam during the quiz night ended with the mods taking the permission away.""
LORE & ORIGIN
A server-setup guide describes it as the same sound triggered, for example, ten times in thirty seconds, calls it the most common soundboard problem, and lists the usual responses: revoking the permission from a role, a timeout role that denies it, or turning soundboard off in specific voice channels. The guide also claims Discord briefly cuts off users after roughly 8-10 quick plays.
