REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE

"He kept dying in the same spot because someone was stream sniping him from his own broadcast."

LORE & ORIGIN

The verb form of stream sniping, also called ghosting. The exact origin is unknown; the earliest documented reference is a November 13, 2011 Battle.net Forums post, and an Urban Dictionary entry followed on January 1, 2014. This entry is the verb ('he stream sniped me'), whereas the existing 'stream-sniper' entry covers the person doing it and 'stream-sniper-edit' covers the clip genre; it is not a separate concept from stream-sniper.
