What Does This Mean?
A meme format, also called Tag Yourself / Tag Your Friends, in which a lineup of characters or celebrities is shown with short trait descriptions and viewers pick which one best matches themselves or their friends.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
""Here is the full cast of the sitcom, tag yourself, and the sleepy one is clearly mine.""
LORE & ORIGIN
The earliest known version was posted by Tumblr user Goblinlord on January 24, 2016, with six bird-like characters and the caption "reblog and tag which bird you are", drawing on 4chan's "Choose Wisely" list threads. Many variations followed within a day, an Instagram account launched on January 25, 2016, and Mic called it the best meme of 2016 in November.
