What Does This Mean?
Brazilian Portuguese gaming slang, the past tense (third person) of "carregar" in its game sense: a player "carregou o time" when they carried the whole team to the win, doing most of the work while teammates contributed little. It is a form of praise for that player.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
""Ele carregou o time inteiro na final", disse o narrador."
LORE & ORIGIN
From the Portuguese verb "carregar" (to carry, to load), used in online games as a calque of the English gaming verb "to carry". Recent usage in Brazilian game chats and streams; no dated first use found yet. It is the past-tense form of the existing "carregar" entry and is mostly used to praise a player after a match.
