What Does This Mean?
Korean internet and TV-variety slang, an age-coded label that is the playful opposite of 영크크. It glosses as "old 영크크" and is used for a person who does not follow young people's trends and slang, either as a teasing label for someone else or as a light self-deprecating joke. Related forms such as 늘크크, 올크크 and 중년크크 circulate in the same joke.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
"My uncle asked what "rizz" means, so the whole family called him 늙크크 and he laughed along."
LORE & ORIGIN
늙- (old) + 크크, modelled on 영크크, a shortening of the song title YOUNGCREATORCREW by the group Cortis. Chosun Ilbo (2026-06-05) glosses 늙크크 as "늙은 영크크" and reports it in an SNL Korea sketch, where a Gen Z reporter calls an older anchor 늙크크, and in a YouTube video by comedian 엄지윤 who introduced 늙크크 and 중년크크 as antonyms of 영크크. Money Today (2026-08-06) reports that on MBC's Radio Star the Cortis member Martin said 영크크 came from his answer "영크리에이터크루" at a media showcase, and that 늙크크 was defined on the show, in a remark by Kim Kook-jin, as people who do not know Cortis.
