What Does This Mean?

[ SLANG ][ MULTILINGUAL NATIVE ]

Korean gaming slang, a clipping of 발 ("foot") and 컨트롤 ("control"), mocking someone whose in-game control and aim are so clumsy that it seems they play with their feet. It is the mirror image of 신컨 (godlike control) and is usually used as a jibe or a self-deprecating joke; it can sound insulting when aimed at another player.

REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE

"He missed every shot in the last round, total 발컨."

LORE & ORIGIN

발 + 컨 (the common clipping of 컨트롤), built on the same pattern as 신컨, which already has its own entry. The foot image is the joke: control so poor that it seems a foot is holding the controller. recent term; no dated source found yet.
