What Does This Mean?
神作画 (kami-sakuga, "god-tier drawing") is Japanese fan slang praising anime whose artwork or motion is exceptionally good, typically a standout scene or episode such as a fight or dance sequence. The opposite is 作画崩壊 (sakuga collapse), used when the animation visibly breaks down. English-speaking fans often render it as sakuga.

""This week's fight scene was 神作画 and gave me goosebumps.""
LORE & ORIGIN
A net-slang dictionary entry (netyougo.com, published 17 May 2013) explains that weekly TV anime struggles to keep quality consistent under tight schedules, so when a scene stands out from a show's usual level, viewers on video sites and live-commentary forums call it 神作画; it adds that the word has more recently been used sarcastically for live-action footage inserted into anime. Harada Eigo's slang dictionary says the term spread from around 2010. No coiner is documented.
