What Does This Mean?
An early-2000s Orkut/MSN-era Brazilian youth internet writing style, whose hallmark features are alternating upper/lowercase letters within words, replacing letters with numbers (leetspeak-adjacent), heart symbols "<3", and "xXx...xXx" style ornamentation. The term derives from "miguxo," an affectionate spelling of "amiguxo/amigo" (friend).
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
"Her old Orkut profile was written entirely in miguxês, with hearts and swapped letters everywhere."
LORE & ORIGIN
Heavily used in Orkut scraps/depoimentos and MSN nicknames/chats, popular specifically among adolescents in the mid-2000s.
