What Does This Mean?
○○ニキ (maru-maru niki) is the template form of ニキ, the net-slang address derived from 兄貴 (aniki, big brother). A name, skill or trait goes in the blank to label someone admired or especially capable at that thing, for example 指摘ニキ (someone who quickly points out flaws) or ジャッジニキ (someone good at making rulings). It differs from plain ニキ by naming the area of expertise; it is usually friendly, can be used regardless of gender, and is sometimes used sarcastically.
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
""このゲームの攻略は料理ニキに聞けば間違いない。" (For this game's strategy, ask the cooking-expert niki.)"
LORE & ORIGIN
Weblio's entry on ニキ says the word is derived from 兄貴 and spread from the 2channel sports board なんJ, while another account traces it to the nickname アニキ of former Hanshin Tigers player Tomoaki Kanemoto, shortened to ニキ and applied to other admired players and then to people outside baseball. The same entry lists forms such as バースニキ, 佐藤ニキ, 指摘ニキ and ジャッジニキ. No dated first use is given.
